LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Holocaust survivor Fred Amram will converse Thursday in the course of the La Crosse Holocaust Remembrance Ceremony.

The digital occasion may even embrace a member of the the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra taking part in choices from the film ‘Schindler’s Listing.’

“The teachings of the Shoah, as we prefer to name the Holocaust, are extra necessary ever in order that we will perceive what occurred then. And what we will do now to supply our democracy, to protect freedom and to protect respect for all people,” stated Robert Freedland of the Maureen and Robert Freedland Neighborhood Fund for Research of the Shoah (Holocaust).

The presentation will conclude with a Shoah (Holocaust) Candle Lighting Ceremony, led by Maureen Freedland, director of the Maureen and Robert Freedland Neighborhood Fund for Research of the Shoah (Holocaust).

The ceremony begins at 7 p.m. on the Congregation Sons of Abraham’s Facebook page.
